Birthday present for friend

Hi,

had some parts of wood laying around so I tried to create a nice birthday present for a friend of mine, also harley fascinated :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: . Was an idea from “one-to-the-next-second”.

Wood: nut, 40mm thick.
Dimensions: ca. 30cm x 30cm
Surface is waxed

I have realized it with 3d-miling and to be honest I had not the right cutter. Next time I would try other tools but altogether in my opinion: It looks pretty cool!

You are right, this should have been a carve. :slightly_smiling_face:

Looks amazing nevertheless! How long did it take?

Miling took round about 4 hours with different cutters. After I had to finish it based on the cutter I used (round about 1 - 1.5 hours).

1st. cutter: 6mm cutter
2nd cutter: engraving tool 6mm with 30° angle

The 2nd tool was too large, but I had no other.

Perhabs we can talk in the next days because I have some questions regarding some miling projects
