Belt length questions

so i cut my belt lengths via the calculator dimensions provided when i sized my machine, The belt that came with it was not long enough for the 4 pieces of belt required (2x 29" and 2x 33.25") my machine is spec’d with a working envelope of 15" x 19" x 3.25". my confusion is the calculator says the total quantity of belts (4x) and the total net inches of the four come out to be 124.5"- per the calculator. the belt in the kit was about 116.5" ~ what is the solution here ? did i get a mismatched belt in my kit ?

The MPCNC kit comes with 3M of belt you have dramatically increased the build size and needed more than 5M of belt for your sized build.

15" x 19" is within the 48" specified in the docs. how is that dramatically over sized?

48 of total axis length is a maximum for performance sake for hard material routing, it says on the shop page to check the calculator to see if the included 3M is enough for you.

Thank you Ryan, i made a mistake in interpreting the kit when i ordered it, ill order the additional lengths.

I think the docs may need to be updated as well.

Can’t get to my github to make a change and pull request at the moment but perhaps something like:

The kit comes with 3M (118") of belt which is enough for 780mm (30.5") of total outer X and Y axis dimensions (e.g. 450mm x 330mm, 390mm x 390mm, 20" x 10", 15" x 15" or any other combination).
