Bad circles

these are circles from 15mm to 30 with roland drad knife

Issue is the same and at exactly the same place. At any circle radius.

please help )

If you are referring to the bump at about the one o’clock position, that looks like slop in the axis.

  1. Check that your tool mount isn’t allowing the drag knife to move when pulled in different directions.
  2. Check that all of your core bearings are in contact with the X rails and that you cannot wiggle the bottom of the LR core in and out. Adjust as necessary.
  3. Check that your belts are under tension and that there is no slop in them.

Also, look carefully at the opposite side.

It looks like the dimples at the nine o’clock position are where the circles atart and stop.

It would be useful to mark on the picture li es for the X and Y axes so that we have a better idea of where to look. I have been assuming that the X is horizontal and the Y vertical.

Oh. Check that the pulley grub screws are indeed tight and holding the pulleys to the motor properly. that’s got more than one or two of us.

I cannot find anywhere that you have posted anything about your machine.

Please give any/all info about your build. Is it the mpcnc or lr platform, show us the way in which you mounting your cutter, What you used to create your gcode, there are many things that could cause what we are seeing. Pics would speak volumes.

I was more noticing the 4 o’clock position, where there is a large gap where no cutting is happening.

Low point on the spoil board? Gantry not level?

Well. Some updates.
