Hey, I have the LR3 with SKR pro 1.2 and TFT35. Is it correct that due to the communication protocol or the like, the feature in EstlCAM where you can probe the surface by applying alu tape to find the surface, doesn’t work because of the board type - is it only RAMPS that is supported? 
Is there a different way to do the auto level probing without changing the board?

That should work with any machine/board, the way the probe works isnt any different than a limit switch, it completes the circuit, you need one end attached to the spindle/router/bit the other one attached or making contact with the aluminum foil/duct tape you are just replacing the 1mm-5mm plate (or whatever you used before (remove the insulation of the tape)
I always thought that would only work with Estlcam boards since it’s in the controller section, same as the XYZ touchplate. I could do it but have never tried. 
Hey Cesar yeah I’d agree with you if I was able to find how to do that, I have only found a way of doing it in estlcam with a ramps 1,4 board, which I do not have. Do you know how to do it and insert the probe measurements into estlcam or whatever process is required? 
I use all my bits with a bit setter and some stop collars. I only reset z axis 0 when using different materials/brands of acm sheets.
