Anyone trying Marlin's input shaper?

I think I want to give it a shot. If I am not mistaken, I need to turn the model 45 degrees since I am using a CoreXY?

I’ve never used an input shaper yet, but I bought the hardware for it, as I bought a kit for building a Voron, and I plan to build at least a couple of the MP3DP plans.

Well. I did my first test and nothing mind blowing yet. I see some minor stuff but maybe I need to dig deeper.

My experience with Marlin input shaper on my a8 printer was similar to yours. I printed a bunch of ring towers with varied zeta 0-1, using several accelerations that are just above the ring threshold for my printer without IS. I asked some questions about tuning on github, and was told that zeta values over 0.3 don’t appear to make a difference. So did a second round of tests zooming on that range, with the same result. Doesn’t do much for my a8, but I’m throwing it on top of my fast print profiles in my slicer anyways… just for good luck.
