Anyone played with the pico-mmu?

Saw the pico-mmu presented by the algorithm in my YouTube feeds. Now that I’ve converted to Klipper firmware and my Octopus board has the needed extra stepper driver, it seems like all the electronics requirements are covered. Wondered if anyone here on the forums has tried this out and could steer me toward or away from diving in.

Thanks!

That is quite interesting! I had not seen that one yet before. Seems quite simple which is very intriguing. Please keep us posted if you decide to try it!

The only issue i have yet to solve reliably is how to rewind the filament and not knot up the source roll. I do not want to run 5 reverse bowden tubes out to the core when they can be y connected before that and only run one. The challenge is then the 14" rewind distance after the filament is cut. I tried a mechanical spring method, but that broke and i cant fit a filamentalist style rewinder into the dry box… Very much interested in your findings.

In klipper screen I learned how to make custom macro menu buttons for the color changer.

Edit: im using a chameleon. But the challenges are the same for either
