Ah, that could explain it. I see the posts from users from other servers that were created after I started following them, not those before. This also goes for the feed. If I created a new post now, you should be able to see it.

Interesting, since yours seems to be the „original“ instance of it.

I just want a picture sharing site that does not support people who shouldn‘t be supported. :slight_smile:

That is also a problem with scale. I think the servers can’t possibly duplicate everything, so they only copy stuff that the users have subscribed to. Once there are hundreds of thousands of users subscribibg all over (like on mastodon), that stuff will be cleaner.

The other potential issue is that servers can pick and choose who to block. It is mostly reserved for the most atrocious posters. But if many .de users were offending the server Ryan joined, they may choose to block the whole server (I don’t think they did).

When I looked, the US server only had a couple dozen users. I asked for an account on the .art server and I’m waiting for approval.

The US one is .social, it’s the biggest one.

It now refreshed following Ryan’s .social. I have the same “problem” for @turbinbjorn, whom I follow but the counter did not go up, I think it’s not completely instant because of the sync between instances. I think I read that somewhere in the FAQ.

From the phone app I cant see any of your post. I see you have 5 post, but nothing is shown. I haven’t found a way to see “global” like Ryan is saying from the phone app yet either.

Depends on the app you have. Pixelix has it at the top:

And as I said: it seems to take a while to populate the feeds from other instances. :slight_smile: Or just posts the new stuff, not the old stuff before you followed. :slight_smile:

I have the Pixelfed app on my iphone. I will keep messing with it. I was able to see your stuff logged in on the computer, but once I hit the view remote profile it shifted me over to your server and I was no longer logged in so I couldn’t like it or anything.
