If you read what I said, I didn’t say to change the wires. I (and Ryan) said to swap the drivers. There is a difference. If you aren’t sure what the difference is, please ask.
theoretically if the drivers aren’t getting power , would that mean stepper motors shouldn’t work ?
I have run files that have taken bout hour and half to run and they cut to file
so cant be a power issue . im picking its more a motor board issue , than steeper
had similar prob couple yrs ago with xtool D1 pro batch faulty motherboards
they sent 3 motherboards out b4 got a good one
True, unless it was low or intermittent, maybe even a very slow charge to full power.
If the uart is not communicating, then your steps would probably be off, and your current would be all over the place. Are you sure you set the jumpers correctly? Care to show a picture.
Are you using UART 2209 drivers?
Bend the pins?
Correct jumper?
