Just wanted to share these two vac hose management systems that I found. For me it has been game changing.
First is the vac hose couplers which require I think just a 1/10th turn to couple and uncouple. If you watch the video, the wood box is my shop vac enclosure, which reduces the sound by…quite a bit. The enclosure has a baffle section which is used to vent off hot air while keeping the noise down. Wood cutting is def the loudest part as always. But this helps quiet the shop vac “whine”.
Second is the vac hose trolley using some EMT overhead.
For the vac hose couplers I had to modify in CAD to make my own custom ones with press/friction fit fittings on one end. I have 4 such interfaces and they work great.
Anyway, hoping this will help someone.

I noticed the pipe trolley had zero likes or any kind of interaction so I figured it might be a sleeper. If anyone has something better I’d be interested!
