Advice on Trigorilla for MPCNC

I have an spare Trigorilla board that was replaced by Anycubic due to the Fan 2 header diode burnt out. All other functions work and since I will not be printing with my MPCNC, I do not need Fan 2. That being said, has anyone been successful in utilizing this board in their build(s)? What are the pitfalls and workarounds necessary?

I’d appreciate any input.

I hadn’t heard of that board before, but it looks like it’s fully supported in Marlin. You’ll need to start with Ryan’s RAMPS firmware and edit to change to the trigorilla board but once you have the right board selected you should be good to go. Which drivers do you have installed? You may also need to change steps per millimeter to match the drivers.

Thanks Bill!

I have the stock 8825’s that were replaced when I upgraded to the 2208’s on my new board.

I’m no Marlin Wizard but I’m going to give it a shot! (and learn something new in the process)

Thanks again.

Dave-

Hi dave! I am just about to finnish my mpcnc build and was also planning to use a spare trigorilla board on my cnc. Would you be so kind and share the config files that i need so i can install it too?
