You can use the 660 on the lowrider, but better not the 611 on the MPCNC. The 611 is a bit heavier and the lowrider mount and gantry can take it. The standard mounts are 660 for MPCNC and 611 for lowrider.
Long time occasional stalker here, but only just joined. I think I’m getting close to taking the plunge into building an MPCNC now that my 3D printer and workshop are in better order, but now I have a dilemma:
My work is offering me some gift options, and one of them is a DWP611. I don’t currently own a router at all, so this is tempting, but my original plan was to just purchase a 660 to use both on the MPCNC and for general woodworking use. I’ve read that the 661 is not recommended for MPC…

Thought I would just drop in to mention that I’ve begun a MPCNC build. My hope is that it will be able to cut aluminum mounting plates (with holes, pockets, etc) up to 1/2 inch thick – we’ll see if I’m able to achieve that or not… If it can handle 1/4 inch plates I’ll consider it a win, but 1/2 inch is the goal. To that end I’m going to keep the build area pretty small (12" x 18" x 3"). I would be happy with 12x12, but I like the idea of swapping out 2’x2’ spoiler boards (available …
