a4988 vs drv8825 stepping change

I did not invest in the 8825 as i just went with the a4988s that came with the kit, if i read correctly, they are 1/16 steps vs 1/32 steps, do do i change that in the flash?

Yup, cut the steps in half.

Sir,

working on flashing this. first time and do not want to fry. did you have a video on how to do this. I seen the how to page but i need to change the stepping

There are tons and tons of videos on flashing a ramps board. On my firmware page I have step by step with pictures.
