I use a Rambo 1.4a card. I’m using the laser Engraving that appears in the picture. How do I help connect the laser to the card (cable connection)?
Not much to go by… looks like the fan and laser leads are soldered to the board. Whats labeled power looks like a on-off button. You’ll need 12v in connected to the laser driver with the supplied cable. Now the board is labeled PWM. Is the controller PWM/TTL or just PWM? 5v or 12v control signal?
It is laid out on the ultimachine page, but you need to know if it is 3,5,12V signal.
Do you mean the TTL signal?
For example, this laser uses a 5v TTL signal.

Do we know the voltage of the MX2 pins for the laser control?
Rambo 1.4 mx2 voltage 5 v.laser pmw signal 5 v. laser power supply 12v
Thanks for the reply, Ugur. I’ll have some time to play around with it tomorrow.
I find it weird that the laser driver card seems to be sharing a ground between the 12v input and 5v TTL/PWM. I guess its ok if you have a common power supply to both the laser driver card and Rambo.
Just another extremely odd Laser Thing. There really needs to be some standards with them. I have a pile of notes to write a how-to guide but it will be full of things like “sometimes the PCB is marked incorrectly and - actually means +”, “sometimes”, “Guess and check is the only method” I can’t bring myself to do it.
