I happened on this today and was intrigued by his process (trial and error):

This is the kind of stuff that gets people hurt. A 3D printed CNC is one thing, but you get your hands very close to the moving band saw blade. Making a printed, low infill table and throwing logs on it is incredibly dumb.
3D printing is great for lots of applications but wide flat sheets aren’t one of them.
I did print my blade guide because there is not too much space for another construction, but it is definitely not load bearing at all:
That’s the perfect application. A small, complex part used to tie everything together. Very cool. No danger of dismemberment!
My biggest concern with this would be the table / insert and you actually see in the video the board slams through it.
