24" x 36" working area, 3/4 EMT?

Hello,

Looking to put together 24" x 36" working area (48" x 36" table size) for hobby use, will 3/4 EMT conduit out of home depot be strong enough for this size machine?

It will be for most work. That was the size of my original mpcnc several versions ago, and before the bigger tubing was available.

Will be doing Wood and Plexi mostly, nothing thicker than 1/4 inch.

Then I would say it will be fine/great.

This is the biggest project I made on mine. It did need some sanding because there was some chattering. But it was made from 3/4" Baltic Birch ply. The kids still use it every day and I sit on it when they are taking their baths.
