I’ve been trying to procure these bits ((5) 1/8"(.1250") single flute carbide end mill for plastic Kyocera 1516.1250.400 | eBay) in Canada. They are the same bits offered on the v1e shop.
I’m particularly interested in these bits because they perform much better than generic single flute bits. They generate much less heat (or they transfer the heat into the chips) and are less prone to clogging up.
I recently reached out to a Canadian Kyocera distributor (E.M. Precise Tool), who informed me that the bits have been discontinued.
Does anyone know if the bits are still being produced by Kyocera or another company, and if there are any Canadian distributors who carry or could procure them?
