Out of curiousity, with those settings and assuming you can pretty efficiently use nearly the entire sheet to cut out parts, how long does it take to process a sheet?
Like, are you just babysitting the machine for hours at a time? Weeks of cutting and stacking parts before you have what you need to build a small structure?
Not a criticism just genuinely curious about the time tradeoffs with large scale projects — am I correct in assuming that assembly becomes dramatically faster/easier, but planning/designing and cutting can be quite time consuming?
Yeah, you are correct. Planning, design and cutting is slow.
I think it was 2 - 3 hours per sheet, about 20 sheets? I would do two sheets a day. I was able to work on my computer and watch the cutting at same time so it wasn’t time completely lost.
But then the assembly was about 4 hours. If I had to build something offsite or remote – this is also a really attractive model.
