0.9 degrees Stepper motors Setup

Hello,

I just finished the build of the mpcnc and now I will connect the electronics and the ramps 1.4.
My steppers are 0.9 degrees, thus 400 steps per revolution.
My Stepper Motor Drivers are the DRV8825.
In order to use the pre-configured marlin firmware (B16_32_8mm-fullG-112515 – Full graphic LCD firmware) as is do I need to configure the stepper at 1/16 steps ?

That is an older firmare, I suggest using the Rc7.

You can use any step rate you want other, even full stepping if you don’t need the full accuracy.
