Finding the right module for jackpot3
bought this one from Elecrow https://www.elecrow.com/0-10v-spindle-cnc-i-o-module.html
does not fit jockpot3 wire exits side and hits gpio pins. Found other threads showing different wire exits.
this thread 0-10v I/O CNC Module voltage issues - #23 by MakerJim
this one on Tindie but I don’t think Bart is selling them any more
So what is the advice to find one or unsolder plug and solder different one on that works can do?
I have a RS485 module also it fits but they say the setup to VDF can be more difficult.
For those wondering DURApulse GS10 series VFD from AutomationDirect.com
Thanks any help is appreciated
If you do not have any plugs in the outputs that card should fit just fine.
Can you show a picture.
I have a few of these. I have not set it up yet but hopefully in a week or so, I have some other testing to do.
Planning to run laser form gpio 27 and vacuum or air pump on laser on another
At the same time as your spindle?
If the answer is yes just get a header extender and set it up higher. No big deal.
no do not plain to run at the same time
I have a J-tech 44w laser for laser engraving
a G-Penny 1.5KW water cooled spindle on order with a Durapulse GS23N-25P0 VFD
here pictures of what I got
Just trying to get all the electronic side together before I start assembling gantry
I have another laser built with Jackpot1 and J-Tech 64w and a FluidNc Corgi board for whatever is next.
Just a like a lot of hobbies LOL.
If i have to I’ll switch out the jackpots but I really do not want to if I can get the module to work
I think I’ll probably run each the spindle and the Laser with there own YAML file
Yeah separate yaml files is best.
So everything fits when you are unplugging what is not in use? if you unplug the green one the headers fit? I guess you could also unplug the module itself.
I wouldn’t do that, I’d use a header extender and a taller standoff for the module.

I think the 0-10v module (in picture)on the jackpot3 was modified with a different header
the header extender idea I don’t care for because making the board that much higher
so options
just run spindle & VFD as stand alone
A Phoenix header “ MCV 1.5/5-G-3.5 “ https://www.phoenixcontact.com/en-us/products/pcb-header-mcv-15-5-g-35-1843635 problem here to buy only one or two cost $15 to $20
desolder header and add JST SM connector plug Amazon.com
Probably go with option 3 , may wait till Bart come back off break and check if if he selling that module.
I will post complete build when done still probably take me a couple of months.
Thanks for input
Wish LIST: Jackpot4 based on the Corgi board leds on switches with 5v for NPN sensors, 0-10v & RS485 on board external antenna. I know it would cost more but can go for it.
I do not want to get off tack of topic here or tell me where to post about this the “ ZOOMVROOM FluidBoard https://zoomwroom.com/ looks interesting for our European friends..
Thanks again
Ron
Why not just buy one of Bart’s Doberman controllers? At first glance it ticks off all of your requsts.
