Z axis grating

Hi, assistance needed please.
i have a lowrider
right side z axis is not moving up past 17 mm both z motors will move but the right side makes a grating noise trying to past 17mm in the air.
i tried taking apart the whole thing and tightening everything
changing the motor
swapping wires with the left side
thank you

is this a fuse issue ?

i switched the z port and 1 fuse , same issue

Let’s start with a picture of your LowRider build, and a picture of your control board wired up.

If you did not get the parts from here can you specify what you have so we can ask more pertinent questions please.

all parts was purchased from you , machine was working fine then this issue since oct last year , i just received new motors so thats why i changed it

machine is a little less than 2 years old, all wear and tear parts was also purchased from you

Post pictures please.

Pictures would help.

No it has nothing to do with fuses.

So it is a LR2, for those make sure you have lube on the leadscrews, the leadscrew nut is a bit free to wiggle, and the Z rails are parallel, measure the width top and at the bottom. They need to be the same width or they will bind.

Other than that make sure you are moving at an appropriate speed.

Can you describe the lead screw nut ? I’ll measure the rails this afternoon, thank you
