I’m working through getting the electronics working on my MPCNC build and I can get the X1, Y1, and Z motors moving by jogging them with the LCD controls.
However if I connect motors to the X2 and Y2 then those motors don’t respond at all.

You flashed the wrong firmware. Assuming you are using a separate driver for each stepper, you want VNCNC_Rambo_Dual. You don’t have to use endstops to use this firmware, but it is required if all your steppers are wired separately.
I assumed the “Dual” referred to the endstops, not the motors. Lots of stuff that’s undocumented, or at least possibly buried somewhere. Thank you for getting me unstuck!
