See that one says 11/6 on it, my contacts say they are all cleared to display it so I assume some stores are just behind.
P.S. it counts!

Because it sounded like you wanted to see how they looked in the stores around the US, this is from one store in Maryville, TN, at the foothills of the Smokey’s. (About an hour from Gatlingburg, Pigeon Forge / Dollywood)
It’s out in two of our local stores. Using my primo with a laser currently. Someday I’ll have space to add a lowrider.
Went to my local Lowes, no routers to be found even though they show in stock online. Asked for help, employee looked and couldn’t find them either (we both were looking in the overflow stock on the top shelves, nothing).
Currently, there seems to be a whole Kobalt section, you can see some of the other pictures, a bunch of little blue Kobalt pallets. Mine around here are near the entrance.
I was looking for an endcap and all the center isle pallets (there are a lot of them with Kobalt tools), but no dice. Employee was convinced they just hadn’t gotten them out yet, they’re supposedly in the middle of getting everything reorganized for the holidays.
I can only share what I’ve observed in the stores around me (5), and it seems to jive with other’s photos and stories.
I know of a story, where the tool clerks were busy, and didn’t know where the tool was when not at the location stated online. Item was ordered and three clerks were seen walking up and down the aisles looking for them. Hour later, gentleman decided he was on the verge of buying other stuff not needed, and went to get lunch. In the middle of lunch, order was cancelled. He went online and the quantity had lowered from 10 to 3. He started to place the order again, when a good customer service person called and told him they found them, he could reorder or swing back buy and go to customer service.
The following day one display was on the floor in the impulse tool section.
I only wasted time explaining this because depending on the store, the displays are involved and getting “miss placed” in the “storage” sections of the stores, with the holiday push for merchandise. I was pleasantly surprised for the stores in the Knoxville area, all of them got at least one display except one. That part of town people still are looking for the buttons to operate a 50 year old screwdriver.
On a lighter note, I observed yesterday while verifying the LR “box” on the display was an empty box, that the oscillating saw, for its forward facing photo on the box, appears to have been accidentally printed upside down. Those boxes are displayed upside down, which makes it a small challenge to get them out of the display, all so the tool is presented right side up. But the LR part of the display is its own separate piece empty box. So as the displays empty……
We’re going one more day, Sunday evening!
Full disclosure, I bought one because of the display price. Hopefully this counts as a ‘unique’ photo! Also, way to go me, great framing. Must have lucked out, maybe my store got a misprint or something.
I’d still love to win one for an MPCNC or second LR3 in the future!
Also, if further proof is needed, I’ll post a pic of myself with the one I brought home with me!
Finally found them at another location! Also had to pick up one of those cute tiny toolboxes lol.
Murphy, TX
Looks like that is about time!
I will select the winner tomorrow. Thanks for taking some fun pictures!
