Where are the V1E users from?

Last we checked that was very expensive.

If someone else in northern Norway showed up as a v1e customer, I would certainly become curious!! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Well, I can state that there’s at least one of everything V1 in Edmonton, AB, Canada.

In an hour, I was able to make an Excel file that creates points on the map by typing only the city. A few more hours and I can make a better map and maybe more information on points.

I’m not saying Excel is the best option for this, it was easy for me to start with Excel. Locations are only coordinates and we uses coordinate based machines.

That’s awesome! Can you share the spreadsheet when you’re further along? I’d like to see how you did that.

I was also able to create a map that shows which countries have machines in addition to the messy map (really boring). But I can’t quite (yet) get the result I want. There are a lot of free maps etc. on the Internet, but I can’t get their data changed to the format I want. This is done in such a way that I have 40,000 inhabited places on the globe and their names and coordinates on one page in Excel. This page will be the base of the messy map. On the other page, I have a table where I collect “known” locations, from which I make individual points and paste them on the map. on the third page I have a table where the location is written and the point pops up on the map by itself. I don’t think it would be impossibly difficult to code a somewhat similar program in e.g. python. It’s just that I myself have never coded other than g code

So we can only make one list with V1E machines and. We can mark how many there are and what type of machines and if someone wants it can be done with the street address (no!!) and and…

can do this in google sheets as well.

Hello, Edit 28.7.2024 :Please do not answer, yet. Work in progress.
This is beta test for the map.
Could you answer for this Google forms?

Note if you have multiple types of V1E machines you need to requery. E.g. if you have 2pcs LR3 and 5pcs ZenXY you can aswer 2 pcs LR3 at the same time but you need to requery ZenXy’s.

After you have answerered you should see your dot in this map.

I just checked the map and I swear a dot appeared while I was looking at it??

My dot didn’t appear right away but it does show now.

I think it might make sense to add Router to the list. I think spindles and routers are 2 different things. Maybe for purposes of this, it’s close enough?

Yea that is possible. I saw your dots to appear. :joy:
