Did you find the metal swing arm that popped off, how bad is it? Curious if it bent around the sharp corner or in some other way.

Usually, you can straighten out with pliers and remount the metal spring arm back into place. Finicky AF, but doable. Depending on your accuracy requirements, you may want to recalibrate and adjust your pull off distance for true square homing.
