Weird “cupping” on X axis?

Has anyone had this issue before? Im cutting drawer slides out of 3/4” mdf. I just got the feeds and speeds dialed in at 3mm DOC @ 30mm/s. I also used a .5mm finishing pass.

In the first image you can see a shadow/gap at the center of the piece. In the second image i flipped the piece onto the other edge and the shape is the exact opposite with the edges being lifted.

I’ve gotten identical results on two separate pieces. It’s hard to picture but the “arc” is a little less than 1/16 of an inch. Any ideas?

That sounds like climb cut vs conventional try slowing down the speed just to check. Also try cutting on the other axsis 90 degree to what you are now and flex

My only though is the tube must have slight bow. Can you take a second board so you flip it around match them together and see if it is a smooth arc?

I pulled the gantry apart and noticed the tubes had a slight bow. I’m assuming you were right! Thanks!
