I have been running through all the tuning again.

Max flow I am getting with the orbiter and 0.6 CHT nozzle is still 24mm3/s for pla, no different from the H2.

This one, GitHub - Frix-x/klippain-shaketune: Klipper streamlined input shaper workflow and calibration tools lets you check your belt tension, set input shaper and check for good move speeds…pretty wild deep rabbit hole if you are not careful.

Then using the klipper accel test print is revealing as well. Resonance Compensation - Klipper documentation

next up is setting my skew, Calilantern Calibration Tool – Vector 3D

after that back into production…

I am running 95mm/s outer parameter, 120mm/s others 0.38mm layer height, 7000 accel. Pretty happy with that. My v4’s are running like 40mm/s 3k accel, 0.32 layers. the v5 is nearly 2x the speed.

Man, Oh Man, there are some SMART people out there!

And that, right there, is why my V4 will instead be a V5 when done.

That polar heat map is super cool!

That is my plan as well. This V5 is a clean setup.

You run a tight ship. Those resonance graphs are artwork.

The extruder looks right at home in that setup.

I do not understand a bit of it…at all, not even a little bit.

There are a lot of wires coming off this thing, all of them have connectors on them…of course they are not in the ideal place for this setup so I considered cutting them off to make it fit better but in the end it looks good and does not mess with the resonance so I left it.

I guess that is not true. I did learn in the shaper calibration graphs a fan (steady vibration) will show up as a vertical line.

Well, that seals the deal for me and the Smart orbiter. I have been looking at it for a while and the price point is fantastic. Might have to replace the original H2 on my Ender3 to try it out…

Man if they just fit a filament encoder on it it would be a very, very ideal extruder. I need to pull my smart sensor apart and see if there is anyway to make the one I have fit on top.

That said I loved the H2 as well, took a couple weeks to really abuse it enough to find its shortcomings.

LMAO, Agreed. I just see a cool pic lol

Where did you buy your orbiter?

Pretty sure it was fabreeko, I am not 100% on that.

It was. That’s also where I ordered mine from
