I’m dreaming up a project that will require carving a 1x5, flipping it over, changing tools, and carving some more from the other side. It’s important that the carvings on the two sides line up.
Do you have any tricks for getting this right?
Watch a lot of videos, typically you will use the two pin method. Meaning mill side one and that will include 2 holes on the center line into the spoil board that you will insert pins(dowels) and that lets you match side two when you flip it.

Winston is using Fusion, but the same thing applies to estlcam, or any cam really.
