My colleques (also a friend) friend gave birth to a son named Bram, so a sign should be made. My collegue asked me If I could make her something (she knows I own a lowrider-3). First I made a picture with help of chatgpt, i converted it so svg with inkscape. Then imported it in Estlcam and made a cnc program. First I wanted to scribe the inside lines with a pen, but a also had a laser lying around and connected it to try some lasering.
After some lasering the inside lines were done, so I tried lasering the outline to and after some experimenting it worked quite well. The laser was not mounted properly at first, so there is some difference between lines.
So the result:
The bottle was lasered seperately, so it could be changed or placed elsewhere. (Texels(e) Skuumkoppe is a beer brand over here)
My colleque started painting and this came out:
The black text was a piece of black ducttape lasered through and peeled off. Piece of cake!
Timmy had been painted and was mounted on the fence.
