Teaching Tech Leaving YouTube

Michael has made a big positive impact to the hobby in general and this community specifically. It is unfortunate to see him go. I wish his high standards and values resulted in him being more successful.

He says he will keep his website up and plans on being active sharing things on printables. Maybe he will have more time for his Low Rider now. He said he is going back to teaching full time and those kids are so damn lucky!

@teachingtech, Thank you for everything you’ve done. You’re a gentleman and a scholar!

yes indeed, many things i have learnt from him!

I never knew he was in here though!

Very nice sentiment Jeff! And I second the lucky kids. He is always so down to earth!

Seeing his LR2 video is what lead me here to begin with! Ya those kids are going to have a great time!

Yep, thanks @teachingtech Michael!

The state of information is very grim indeed at the moment. In the old days, magazines had months to test gear - there was no real race to be first, and while they often had editorial bias it wasn’t like the “one second reviews and click the affiliate links” situation we have now.

For a while it was possible to get nice reliable information on the internet - I am not so sure that is an easy thing to do anymore.

Teaching Tech will be missed.

Changing times. I dropped everything to listen to the message in that video, from a trusted maker. I trust so few sources these days, Teaching Tech will be sorely missed. I fully support the decision. I just hope we still get a random video once or twice a year about cool stuff that I might have missed.

He did say he would still put one out every so often. And he has a few more projects he wants to finish up

Same as @JkJCreates TT introduced the LR2 to me when I was trying to figure out what the heck I’m going to do with the Ender 3 I just bought. Might have even introduced me to the Ender as well!

Glad to see he’s back to teaching in person.
