Think Ryan’s suggesting no hose hook needed, for stationary vac sections, if we have long zipties (or 2 connected ones) double looped over the Vac hose, threaded through brace holes…

I still need the hose bump part on the end, but will probably switch layout so Vac hose routes towards X Max instead. One of my goals is to keep X min side of bench clear and tools/storage accessible.

Ah that makes sense - that looks much better. Might be something to consider adding to the instructions - the section saying ‘Secure the hose again at just past the halfway point’ doesn’t have an accompanying image to suggest the way to do it and that’s certainly neat and secure.

No! (although there’s nothing wrong with the version @azab2c Aza suggested

The answer is simple and one I use often - the old “why use one zip tie when you can use two” trick.

Run a zip tie around the brace upright thingy (sorry couldn’t be asred looking up the real name) with holding a large zip tie (I prefer velcro tape) parallel with the brace - instant parallel clip!
Sorry, midgecad is a bit shaky this morning!

Just a small self tapper will do the trick - you don’t need much at all.

The smaller hose is definitely easier to deal with from the LR3.

Exactly thanks for the pic, I am not at the shop today.

If he wants to look professional he should avoid zip ties.

Expanding foam is what real pros use…

I don’t know, I’ve got mechanisms out at other planets and scattered about the solar system- and their harnesses often are either zip tied or cable laced.

Is that a professional enough example of zip tie use?

Professional? Sure. But you can’t see them from Earth.
