I showed it to a friend of mine who is always very sceptical about everything to do with the CNC (because it is not “real” woodworking or sth. like this), he was really blown away that he could not move the 120x60cm plywood at all.
For the eco table there is an extensive thread in another forum where he developed them before Sorotec had him make like 100 for their shop. Pretty interesting to read.

I thought it’s a great idea to split the vac tube in multiple hoses, you could clamp them easily to create multiple zones. Plus, I always thought of using thick mdf, so was surprised to see the use very thin mdf instead.
Okay, I found both of them again, the first one is pretty long, but you can follow the development of the table he sold to Sorotec. If you can’t speak German, the pictures are pretty telling as well.

To get the air out I think it is better to suck the air at multiple points to not have the pressure fall off too much. But hey, I am basically just winging it and looking what other people do. It’s not that I could prove it with maths.
