So no two filaments are the same, are they?

So, this happened…

Hahaha…

Back in the day…or should that be “back in the day” IPA was referred to as India Pale Ale and wasn’t a citrus festival on the palate like it is now. Not that I’m complaining - I’m digging the citrus to some degree (used to be a die hard Shocktop fan). But now I can’t risk my hard earned money on an unknown IPA.

You can definitely go wrong with IPA. I haven’t been drinking as much, since I’ve noticed a distinct decrease will power and an increase in tv after drinking one. But there are many breweries that like to make something and have to make everything. They generally aren’t very good at IPA. New Belgium and Deschutes are generally safe bets in my book. But I can’t help it, I enjoy new beers more than my favorites, even if they are lower quality.

I’m not much into the hoppy bitterness of an IPA so I tend to stick either with darks that you almost have to chew or sours… Lowest IBU on the menu often is my best bet.
