Rail Wall Thickness

Hello all,

I’m building a Lowrider2 for a 4x8’ work area. How thick is too thick for the stainless rail wall thickness? I have a quote for 1”OD 0.25” wall thickness 304 stainless. I also have the option of 316 stainless.

Is that too thick? Potential downsides? I don’t need it to be portable.

That may sag under its own weight. I used .065" wall thickness.
