10’ ply isn’t easy to come by, at least not at a Lowes or Depot. Can you suggest elsewhere to look and any specs I should ask for? Like should it be LVL?
Or, do you think the sides of the rails could be made with 1x4’s?

That statement was made in jest. Not sure if a 1x would maintain straightness well enough. I think I would buy a glulam engineered beam and redo the bracket slot to accommodate if I wanted that big of a machine.
