Just about got this done while I was making a cricut haunted house project for my daughter’s class halloween party. Since I had the excuse of babysitting the cricut for a few hours, I was able to spend time in the basement building this. Everything is hooked up and working properly, going in the right directions. I taped the belts to an extendable table to test it before I have a chance to build my table. I’m just waiting on an extension wire for the probe and I’ll finish up the wiring runs and close the control box back up. I’m getting some mdf tomorrow to make a bootstrap table to test the crown and then cut struts.
Right now I just have two questions:
How do you secure the vacuum hose to the vacuum holder. Is it just held by the zip tie without actually lockong in?
Im using the makita router. Whats a good starting feed rate and rpm for a newb with the standard 48in build? I feel like I read about it before, but I cant seem to find it again. From what I see on the forums I was guessing 20k rpm and 15mm/sec feed rate. How’s that sound?
Thanks for all the info on these forums. I love a helpful online community. Makes me miss the old NASIOC forums.
