New Build from Italy

Is one lagging behind another or the whole axis? Mechanical versus electronic? Can you describe the behavior?

I guess that if one motor is starting later than the other, you have no serial motor cabeling then. And each Stepper is on it’s own port on the controller board.

Right?

Does anybody knows if the primo core can be used with burly trucks?

I think the answer is no, because of different heights of the axis’, but I am not sure.

My understanding is there is an adapter to allow it to work… but it makes the tool stick out further from the core so if the tool is heavy it can cause issues… @jeffeb3 please correct me if I’m wrong.

The Burly tool mount can attach to the primo Z axis. The Dewalt 660 mount, for example, was recreated for the Primo to tuck it in as much as possible.

AFAIK, no other parts are directly compatible.

Thanks for the clarification Jeff

thanks I had a new old tool mount hanging around and I didn’t want to throw it away
