Yeah. I have one of those and Barry does too. Haven’t mentioned it in a while, but it does work. I have it on my list to attach it to the side of the low rider. I wish it had two always on and two toggled ports. Mine has two toggled and two reverse toggled.
Sounds like you need to open it up!

Do you have the .stl files for the tool holder. I am using the same Craftsman rotary cutter on my MPCNC but the mount I modified is a bit wonky.
