MPCNC permanent z probe

IMO If the electric tool is grounded then the tool (bit, saw, drill,… )is supposed to be grounded, safety reason.

I never tried it on the dw660 before I switched to a makita, I meant to. But on the makita I took the top off and just wedged a wire between the plastic housing and the top most bearing. That conducts through the bearing, the shaft, down to the bit and I use it as my xyz probe.

So I this is pretty old but I cant find any info on Brads setup but I would love to know more. I constantly use z touch off so anything to make it faster would help me. Its super helpful when v carving especially with not so flat wood. I sometimes will do a Z touch on that specific area of carving per operation like with a flags stars.
