MPCNC Max Build Dimensions

What have you guy’s found to be the largest build dimensions of the MPCNC? I know it’s dependent on what your cutting with it , what size spindle, speeds etc .

but what have you guy’s found is the largest I can go before I start to see noticeable issues begin?

I just ordered another kit from the shop and am going to be building another one but am looking to go as large as I can before running into major issues.

Thanks for the help.

What do you use you machine for? That is the biggest factor. What sort of tolerances are reasonable for you?

i’m primarily going to be trying to cut and mill wood, acrylic, and HDPE

I’m not sure what good tolerances would be considered? But I would say for 90 percent of my applications tolerances shouldn’t need to be very tight.

I have 3 size conversion going on at the exact same time.

If you don’t have a tolerance worry you will be fine.

The larger the machine the harder it is to get your cam right by a huge margin.

Do yourself a favor, build it as recommended and when you learn how to use it you can spend another $5 on longer conduit and go from there.
