LR4 Table Cheat sheet

When I built my LR4 the first thing I found a little confusing was starting with the table.

There is so much really great info on so many really great ideas I just got confused where to start. I took Ryans approach I read somewhere and just went a ahead and started the build even on the floor, but for me the floor isn’t so good so I threw a plywood sheet on some saw horses and had at it.

Then I figured out the table. I like all of the parametric info and the build calculators but as I was building my torsion box old school I wanted to make a model. It all worked out great and thanks to everyone.

I wanted to share this very basic guideline reference some might (or might not) find helpful. It seems we all know first step the desired size of our work area XY.

Simple Drawing of minimum dimensions just inert X and Y

Final table.

Again not clever but just a basic start. these are minimum dimensions to start with.

This was posted before just old school table saw approached. I did not have confidence to use CNC.

Nice drawing! That’s what I was looking for a few days ago before I started my table build.

Nice. I’m in West Michigan and have done a few Mac races. Mostly doing small boat stuff now, and hoping the LR4 will assist with some boat projects.
