After having printed the parts for 32mm tubing while the tubes i received were 30 and thus the core being all wobbly … re-printed the matching 30mm parts and all fits nicely now.

Getting closer.

Nice build Jaco!
Did you order the tubes from metaalshopper? i got also 30mm in stead of 32mm for the short tubes, but i reordered them. It is a tricky website

Actually i received what i eventually ordered. because i last minute switched to a more dimensionally stable version.
But i forgot …
I got it from

30,00/2,00 1.4301 Korn 240

Also a tricky website, specially if german is not your native tongue  But the quality and packaging was great!

I ditched stainless steel because it is always welded and grinded down, which does not make it 100% round, there always was a difference of up to 0.3mm which resulted in the core to wobble slightly on the LR3 as well as my Primo before.

I went with Präzisionsstahlrohr, which is basically DOM with 0 difference at all. Much more happy though I had a little rust at the beginning.
