LR 4 bolt calculator?

The build instructions say I will need “more or less” hardware than the table shows depending on my build size. How do I determine which hardware line items have different quantities?

For a 26”x50” build I’ll have a shorter gantry and shorter Y, so there will be a but less hardware but I don’t think it will be a lot, right? I might have two fewer beam brackets, and a few less clips.

Is it enough to worry about when ordering parts?

There are 4 bolts and nuts per brace so you can estimate how many less you would need. I would recommend ordering enough hardware and not worry about it. If you have some hardware left it will come handy in a future project.

I got accustomed to buying hardware rounded to the next 5 or 10 above the needed quantity.

Something big and expensive I would buy +1 or +2, but small (up to M8) bolts I usually round to the next 10. Many times it happened that some nut got lost, and then there is one missing to finish the job. It is very annoying to have to go and buy one or two nuts, it is much simpler to buy upfront +5 than needed. It also helps if there is a fabrication fault on one bolt or nut to have at least one spare.
