Edit the config.Yaml file on your desktop and upload it or use the save macro (its in the jackpot Docs)
what does the save macro button look like? sorry for the dumb questions
No dumb questions, just 0 research
Thats true not a lot of research. I only get a couple hrs of free time a week. We have 6 kids and homeschool. So most the new stuff I want to learn is slow going. Sometimes for me its just more time efficient to just ask beacuse im helpping one of he kids. I apreciate the quick responces it really helps me figure this stuff out faster with my lack of personal time, Thanks a bunch. you guys rock. im going to try and get the crown test done some time this week.
I wasn’t trying to be mean or shame you. @Ryan has everything well documented, instructions, basics guides, and the biggest resource here is this forum, whatever you want to know is already answered somewhere.
for further help you seek remember:
provide the startup messages for your machine, upload a copy of your config.yaml, share a screenshot of your webui screen v2 or v3 doesnt matter, etc that way we dont trow kicks blind into the dark
I got the crown test done.
But need some help. When I run the gcode it pauses and prompts me to probe. When I hit play it starts to probe but I have to be quick and touch the plates together to set the top of the work piece I’m drawing on. Wich is a pain because the pen isn’t metallic so I touch the tiny touch plate together when I think the pen is the right height.
The Manuel says to just jog over to your piece and get just above the surface and hit play.
But for some reason when I do that it always pauses everything and tells me to probe and when I hit play again it starts to probe and I have to be quick and touch the tiny touch plate to where I think the pen height should be.
I just want to be able to do what the docs say and jog over to the spot and hit play.
