Well, I was more thinking of it being a personal failing on my part for not being as encouraging as I could be but maybe Iāll just run with your take on it. Way less self reflection needed!

It is actually harder, at least for me, to get a 1:1 ratio, because I just donāt like every post to mark Iāve read it like some people do. And a lot of my posts are either helpful or completely dumb and therefore so funny that they get quite a few likes. So my problem is that I am too beautiful and popular for this forum to actually maintain a 1:1 ratioā¦ 
(If anyone should consider taking this seriously: No!)

Interesting that others also shoot for a 1:1 ratio. Iām usually pretty close to that.

Iām shooting for 4 received and :1 given. If I read as many as I post, then that means I like a post along with 3 others and 4 people like one of mine. If it is 1 to one then either Iām not posting enough value for folks to care enough to respond or maybe Iām not reading enough of them and responding to share the likes. I donāt respond with a like to the āhah, good one,ā posts or āme too,ā posts. Just the āIām beautiful,ā ones.

I donāt have much time being active and participating with substantial input at the forum these days. But I follow along and enjoy all the things going on. So I give many more hearts than I receive, and Iām perfectly fine with it! Right now Iām at a 1:2 ratio. Giving is receiving.
Edit: actually, these days its more ducks than hearts. Not that I donāt like hearts, but ducks are neat birds.
