Hello all,
I’ve just started the prep work required to build a LR4. After doing some research across the internet and the threads in this forum I was thinking about going with one of the Kobalt routers but I dont see that its available anymore. Does anyone know if there was an issue (maybe just lack of sales) that caused Lowe’s to pull this from inventory?
If the Kobalt is no longer an option I guess I will go with a Makita/Dewalt.

The Carbide routers on clearance are a good deal if you are in the USA.

I have 2 of them. It comes with standard er11 collets (1/4” and 1/8) so no hassle. They come with 2 pairs of brushes also.

They’d all be gone if they would ship outside the US.

Thanks for the information! I picked up one of these this week, looks like will be a solid choice.

For Black Friday, you can get one at 15% off so it’s only $51.

They do. I had mine shipped to Canada. Their shipping page shows that they will ship to almost any country in the world.

Yeah, good update to this thread, we covered it elsewhere that they used to not ship to Canada for that product but have since changed it.

I wonder how many they had stocked, they‘ve been practically giving them away for at least a year now…
