Help with new Tool mount for Bosh trim router

Thanks y’all for all of the time you spent on this!

After many thoughts, I decided to keep the Bosh as a Trim router and go with a generic 65mm router spindle in order to keep all of the existing features. The Makita mount will go just fine and is available with the vacuum attachment.

This is lacking dust collection, which I will add later. I also added little marks on the straps so it’s obvious which is which, and which way is “up”.

I don’t have this tool, so I can’t say whether this works or not for real, but it’s my best attempt based on the model file.

I’m hoping the same general approach can work with minimal changes for RotoZip or DW660 or a 500W DC spindle or angle grinder or whatever else. A chainsaw will need a different style of mount, so that will not be covered by this design.

I will be testing this shortly.

I will also be working on dust collection, but my cad skills are lacking. I guess I will be learning quickly
