Thanks!
I made the model myself based off measurements from own SG. I didn’t want to take mine apart to get all the measurements so I bought an inexpensive kit online so I could get the measurements for the internal cavities: tail/bridge, controls, pickups and neck.
I used OpenScad for the modeling so it was easy to add modules for other tail/bridge combos and I parameterized the neck pocket so I can change it easily based off the dimensions of the neck I’m building for (ultimately I’d like to build necks as well but I thought starting with the bodies would be easier to get the experience and work the kinks out).
After getting satisfied with the model, I used ESTLCam to produce the tool paths and Gcode.
I am almost done with an OpenScad model for the Fender Telecaster. I’ll share pictures of that as soon as I cut one…
If there are others interested in building guitars here, maybe we can share models…?
