GT2 belt stretches

Why is this happening?

This is the third belt. And always in the same place. This is the Y axis on the left when viewed from the zero point (maximum Y moves away from you, maximum X moves to the right).

Can you show a picture of the cross section of the belt where they are cut at the ends? Can you tell if the belts contain metal wires or fiberglass?

Belts with internal steel wires suffer fatigue and the internal wires break. It always happens, it’s just a matter of time. Belts with fiberglass internal cords last indefinitely.

Most of the time, belts with steel wires are externally white in color, while black belts have fiberglass reinforcement. Maybe you got unlucky and got steel reinforced belts without knowing.
