Got Sawbuck? (Folding stand for chopping logs, and more...)

Youtube/internetz has many many simple folding sawbuck designs, and some fancy ones too…

No mention of Sawbucks on this forum, yet, was expecting some of the folks here would’ve made a Sawbuck with lumber and CNC’d/Printed parts. Am expecting folks here likely made fancy ones too?

So, I’ll show you mine, if you show us yours?

Usable and being used, but am doing mods when sufficiently frustrated by something… e.g. Printing off some teeth to resist logs spin, if those suck, will CNC some Alu teeth.

Fwiw sized sawbuck to double up as 36" high table/stand.

Cheers!

Haha, what a funny coincidence! Tonight I made two frames to use as feet for a temporary workbench at our cabin place. I made them in such a way that they can be combined into a sawbuck when we are finished with the workshop and things gets more permanent. But the sawbuck will be far from as fancy as yours!! I’ll share a few pics tomorrow.

Here is my super basic frame for a makeshift workbench, that’ll get repurposed as a sawbuck when the outhouse is finished:

And some bonus pics from our cabin. A combined holiday house and construction site! Not always easy to manage the balance between spending quality family time and getting work done on the project. We are lucky to have all our parents alive and very glad to help out. The decking got finished this weekend, it’s amazing how it has improved the place.
