Fold down desk

Got the screen mounted - Toight. Toight like a toiger, yesh.

I’ve a slim USB-C power supply on the way that’ll go on the back for the pi 400.

It almost looks like a slim arcade cabinet… hmm…

love that movie haha (Austin Powers Gold Member)

This thing turned out so well! You could use that design for a lot of things I feel, like you said an arcade cabinet, maybe a hidden stationary desk for the kitchen or in a bedroom that doesn’t take up space..really cool!

Finished and installed. Just in time for Christmas.

Yes I will tidy up that cable - the flex is too thick for my stapler so I need to get clips.

It’s also plugged into a zigbee plug so there will be no late night gaming I’m afraid.

Thanks @RupeB for the suggestion to use the captured wood hinge, I think that makes a big difference.

The way Mike Myers looks at Michael Caine when he says “and the Dutch” is comedy perfection!

Are your kids already learning programming?!

The 7yr old is yes, the younger one can’t read yet so that’d be expecting a bit much.

We’re using this, which is quite cool:

We go to a Raspberry Pi club once a month and they have bitbots that can hold a sharpie, follow a line or other stuff we haven’t got to yet.

@Dreyfus glad it worked out :ok_hand: you’ve inspired me to make an adult size version for my partner’s work from home setup
